Reason for joining the directory
so that I can get connected and provide care to individuals in the LGBTQ+ community here in Michigan. My practice is intentionally inclusive and affirming of all genders, sexual identities, races, and lived experiences. I feel that everyone deserves a safe, supportive space to heal, and I would be honored to walk alongside individuals in the LGBTQ+ community on their mental health journeys.

During my residency and fellowship training, I attended multiple lecture series related to providing psychiatric care for LGBTQ+ individuals, these lectures included topics such as the minority stress model, implicit biases, identity development, and affirming care. I also did a residency/fellowship rotation at the Corewell Gender Care Clinic with Dr. Lowery and have also worked with LGBTQ+ patients in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatry settings.
