Reason for joining the directory
I want to be added to the Consortium's provider list because we need increased awareness and accessibility to LGBTQIA+ competent and affirming providers. It's already hard enough to reach out for support, I want to make sure people know I exist and am here to support them. Truly supportive LGBTQIA+ care is unfortunately not widespread and so I want to spread the word as much as we can. Providing care for the LGBTQIA+ community is why I do the work I do. Queer people are my people <3

I completed the Sexual Health Certificate Program through the University of Michigan for Sex Therapy and Sexuality Education. This program included workshops and lectures by amazing educators including Eli Green, Lucie Fielding, and Roger Kuhn on caring for and supporting trans, Two-spirit, and queer clients; transgender sexual health care, and various other LGBTQ+ specific needs. The majority of my clients are queer.
