Reason for joining the directory

It's increasingly important to be a vocal ally for the LGBTQ+ community, especially as they are under increasing threats every day. I want people to know I am a resource and a safe person to work through mental health or life stressors. The LGBTQ+ community needs to know who their allies are and that we exist.

LGBTQ+ training

I have worked with member of the LGBTQ+ community as a case manager and therapist in HIV care and prevention for a number of years. I participate in ongoing education for gender affirming care, non-surgical gender affirming modifications and am working to become WPATH certified. I also actively participate in SOGIE ally work groups and trainings as well as human trafficking trainings and advocacy.
