Everyone deserves to be loved and accepted as they are, empathy can be taught to people who do not understand. And showing empathy to people who are misunderstood can help them cope with being misunderstood.

LGBTQIA+ training
While acquiring my master’s degree I received extensive training for gender affirming care and care for the trans population. But have not had any trans clients. I however have clients who are members of the LGBTQIA+ community, individuals and as part of a traditional nuclear family dynamic.
