Reason for joining the directory
Many of my loved ones are LGBTQIA+. They don't deserve to be discriminated against and attacked the way they are by society. I see how it affects their mental health and how scared and helpless they feel at times. I've witnessed myself community members avoiding therapy due to poor prior experiences with homophobic and transphobic providers. I'm hoping to contribute to the pool of therapists who are affirming, safe, and knowledgeable about LGBTQIA+ issues to help address this particular barrier.
