Reason for joining the directory
I want to be added to the provider directory for a variety of reasons, but primarily to provide a clinical option to individuals in areas where finding identified/affirming providers can be difficult. My wife and I own the therapy practice together and have lived in various areas around Michigan that were rural/conservative, and have seen first hand the difficulty in accessing care - especially affirming care with any type of specialization. Because we offer therapy that is centered on complex trauma, use a variety of specialized treatment modalities, and are identifying providers - I feel that we could meet needs of individuals that may not have access otherwise.
