Reason for joining the directory

I want to be added to the consortium's list because I am passionate about LGBTQ+ health, and I don't know of anyone else in the Obesity Management healthcare space who is meeting the communities unique needs. Bariatric surgery is often stigmatized, but the health benefits to surgical and medical management of obesity are undeniable. The LGBTQ+ is one of the most underserved communities who can benefit from bariatric surgery, and I think that with my experience and training, I can be the advocate these patients need. Thank you for your consideration, and thank you for all the work you do for LGBTQ+ patients!
