Reason for joining the directory
I would like to be added so people can be aware of my services. I am drawn to providing care for the community because when I first came out and was navigating my transition, I had to travel around the state and sometimes out of state to receive care. I don't want folks to have to go through that, and know there are now many options out there for services.

I was involved in educating and advocating for 10 years on Ferris State University's Campus. During my master's program in social work, I interned with Greater Michigan Gender Services, where I served as a clinical social worker, working one-on-one with members of the LGBTQ+ Community, as well as running groups for trans adults, teens, and parents of trans children. I was then hired after completing the program and completed my hours to become a fully licensed social worker. During my time working with GMGS, I co-founded the Mt. Pleasant Pride Center, providing another valuable resource for the surrounding area.
