LGBTQ+ training
Yes! I have had extensive training to become a WPATH Certified Transgender Health Provider and Mentor for other clinicians going through training. I began my clinical work with the LGBTQIA+ population in 2015 and have focused my work with the queer community throughout my career with children and adults. I often seek out and complete updated training regarding all aspects of working with LGBTQIA+ affirming healthcare, especially with BIPOC folks and decolonizing therapy practices. Continuing to grow is an important part of my practice. I am on the Advisory Council with Stand with Trans and participate in many advocacy coalitions to protect trans youth.
